Dear readers,
I saw that you liked the previous post, so today I’d like to continue borderline topic. In the preceding post I wrote what borderline is and how the symptoms look like. You are probably curious what are risk factors for this disorder – I’ll tell you. So, among the factors we can distinguish family history (people who have a family member with the illness are more likely to develop borderline personality disorder), brain structure & function (people with structural and functional changes in the brain are more likely to develop disorder) and environmental, cultural, and social factors (many people that suffer from borderline report having experienced traumatic life events like abuse, abandonment, or hardship, during childhood, unstable, invalidating relationships or conflicts). If you would like to read more about mental disorders, encourage you to read the previous posts and see you soon.
